Alcohol and other drug problems affect people of all ages and from all walks of life. At WeCare, we have extensive experience with treatment and other support measures. You will find our treatment centers in several locations all over the country.
Detoxification and drug treatment
If you have a drug and/or alcohol addiction, it can be difficult to quit on your own, or only via outpatient follow-up. In that case, it may be relevant to detoxify at an institution where you get closer follow-up.
We offer detoxification stays, with medical detoxification in accordance with national guidelines and professional standards. We also have the opportunity for longer detoxification stays for patients who wish to taper off LAR medication or who have previously failed to taper off benzodiazepines in an outpatient setting.
We offer patient-centred treatment, where the patient is involved in designing their own treatment goals. And we offer, among other things, individually adapted therapy and group treatment related to substance abuse based on ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). Where the objective is to find new patterns of action based on one's own values.
We offer substance abuse treatment in the following phases
Detoxification - Phase 1:
Detoxification and stabilization
We aim for proper and good medical tapering and detoxification
The length of stay will vary from the patient's situation, but is usually from 1-6 weeks
In addition to detoxification, motivational talks are offered, both individually and in groups
Drug treatment - Phase 2:
Individual treatment with a permanent therapist (psychologist/psychologist specialist)
Group therapy through a process-oriented group where patients are encouraged to participate and share details about themselves and their own experiences, as well as emotion regulation and mindfulness with a focus on understanding their own feelings and reactions.
Focus on changing drug behavior and emotional patterns that maintain drug problems
In the case of comorbid conditions, somatic or mental health will also be treated at the same time. We also admit ROP and LAR patients
The estimated length of stay is 1-5 months
Drug treatment - Phase 3:
Transitioning from a institution to your own home is a very vulnerable phase. We adapt a gradual transition to life outside the clinic
Together with a social worker, further arrangements are planned with school/work, work-related training, and a possible connection to local aftercare services for the individual patient.
There are several ways to pay for a stay with us, the most common being treatment insurance from the employer, private health insurance or paying privately.
EMPLOYER'S TREATMENT INSURANCE
Treatment insurance is a health insurance that gives you faster treatment and clarification in the event of illness or injury. You avoid the public healthcare queue and receive rapid treatment in the private healthcare system, completely/often without a deductible.
A health insurance should ensure you receive prompt treatment for injuries and illnesses. It is not the case that you are automatically transferred to a private hospital, but if you wait more than 10-15 days in the healthcare queue, the insurance company normally buys a place for you in private healthcare
We offer private treatment stays of 1-5 weeks for patients who wish to be admitted themselves or who are relatives. We have a 1-5 week stay with mapping and customized treatment. We also have a week's mapping and treatment package. Call for price!
From 1 January 2023, the state does not cover private hospitalization via Free Treatment Choice.
